About Housefull 5 Movie
India’s biggest franchise is back with its fifth instalment — and this time, it’s not just about chaos and comedy. It’s a killer comedy, featuring two different climaxes! So, which one will you pick — Housefull 5A or Housefull 5B?
Story
A chaotic whodunnit unfolds when a billionaire mysteriously dies aboard a luxury cruise ship. The story of Housefull 5 centres around a man named Ranjit, who hosts a lavish cruise party to celebrate his 100th birthday — but things take a shocking turn when he dies during the celebration.

Following his death, Ranjit appears in a holographic will, informing his stepson Dev (Fardeen Khan) that his fortune of “69 billion pounds” should be inherited by his rightful heir, Jolly.
Here’s where the twist kicks in — not one, but three men (Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan) arrive claiming to be Jolly, each accompanied by their respective wives (Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, and Jacqueline Fernandez). All of them insist they are the true heir to Ranjit’s empire.
Amidst this chaos, a murder takes place, and suddenly all three Jollys are under suspicion. The big question now is — who is the real killer? Everyone around Ranjit, from his family to the board members of his company, seems to have a motive.
This combination of comedy and murder mystery is rarely seen in Bollywood. This is the reason why the trailer of the film has increased the interest of the audience even more.
However, the suspense is there till the end of the story, and the film delivers laugh-out-loud moments. If there were fewer characters in the story and the story of the film was not so stretched, then this could definitely have become an A-one film. The climax of the film is strong. Passing through the thief’s death, the film reaches a solid climax.
The climax of the film is its soul. By the way, let us tell you that the makers have kept two climaxes in the story of the film. If you are watching Housefull 5A while buying the ticket, then you will get to see a different climax, and if you are watching Housefull 5B, then the climax will be different. This entire review has been written according to Housefull 5A.
Review
Housefull begins with a promising idea and delivers plenty of laughs in the first half. However, as the story moves towards the interval, it starts to lose its spark. The murder mystery that initially builds excitement doesn’t quite sustain its grip till the end, with the narrative losing focus along the way.
That said, the film redeems itself with an impactful climax that ensures your ticket doesn’t feel like a waste.
If you enjoy the typical Housefull-style of illogical, light-hearted comedy, this one is worth a one-time watch — especially for its impressive star cast.
